All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

No, I'm not leaving on a jet plane, just my little Nissan and we are only going about 15 minutes away, but I'm so excited to be moving into OUR new place tomorrow!! In case you missed it in my last post, B and I are moving in together! My apartment is just about ready for my family to come tomorrow morning to gather up all my stuff and move it down to the new place. The apartment is the other side of the duplex that B currently lives in, so he doesn't have to go too far. It's a great place in a nice quiet neighborhood and it's much closer to my job which is awesome.

I've lived in the apartment I'm currently in for the past 6 years. It's been a great place and I'll miss it, but I won't miss the 2 year old stomping all over the place above my head every night. I don't know what possesses parents to allow their toddlers to stay up as late as midnight playing and running around! I am excited to have a yard, and a bigger kitchen, and my own driveway. Laundry machines that I don't have to shove quarters into every week. Two bedroom and a walk up attic to put all my junk in. Finally being able to have my piano in my home and not have to go to my parents' house to play! The possibilities are endless!

I'm hoping that this new home and someone to cook for will spur some new blog posts. I'm interested to see how B will adjust to my cooking and whether he'll be more open to trying my GF/DF experiments. I know he'll try them, whether or not he'll like them is a whole other story. I'm just looking forward to doing more cooking in general! I've been living off of a limited menu lately cooking for one or hitting up Chipotle. Lately I've been addicted to Schar sub rolls and baguettes. I made garlic bread for the first time in YEARS. It's so good. I just rub fresh garlick on the bread, slather it with Earth Balance, and put it in the toaster oven on 400 degrees for 5 minutes. It's amazing. Serve with GF pasta (Schar) and meat sauce. So awesome.

Good luck in your new place! I love the name Nissan, btw, and very recently I've heard that Schar makes some good pasta! Enjoy! :-)
